We know! We know! It's been a long time comin' since our last update about what the Spencer Fam Jam has been up to and all that has been going on - so here it is!

We are back at El Rancho Abierto in Baja California, Mexico (For those who don't know, it is a YWAM base). We are staffing again for the base's spring Family DTS (Discipleship Training School) and have been asked by the Lord to take on a new and exciting challenge. Instead of working specifically with the adult students who came with their families down the VERY VERY rough 9 mile dirt road, this year we sensed the Holy Spirit direct us to work with the kids of those families as teachers in the "Foundation School".

When we got back to El Rancho after an extended visit home for the Holiday Season, Kira sensed the Holy Spirit tell her that we were supposed to staff the Foundation School , SO after I prayed LOooNG and hard about it (😂lol), we both decided it WAS what God was asking us to do this time around. Kira and I are teaching the youngest age group, the 4-7 year olds, and we are having a blast. We are being blessed daily with the joy of watching the Holy Spirit speak to these children and meet them each day in unique and special ways. We are teaching them foundational principals of our faith but also going deeper into prophecy, baptism of the Holy Spirit, and the supernatural movements of God. All of these things comprise of who He is, who He says we are supposed to be, and point toward how we are supposed to live. These young kids are praying over people and speaking prophetic words over each other and adults on the base. During this time we've seen the kids become hungry for God's Word, be baptized in the Holy Spirit, receive their prayer language, experience true worship, heal people, and become empowered in their praying. It has been amazing to see them grow in the knowledge of the fear of the Lord, love for God, and love for each other.

CLASS THREE HIKING TEGTMEIER TRAIL

TESTIMONY TIME!

We were practicing hearing God's voice one morning when I (Jordan) had asked each of the kids to grab a piece of printer paper and sit back down in their seats. I then asked them to ask Holy Spirit to give them an encouraging word or picture for a fellow classmate. They wouldn't know which classmate their word was going to be for right away. The plan was to pull the name of the other person after they were finished writing or drawing whatever God showed them. While a 4 year old boy in our class had been drawing his picture, I sat beside him and watched as he drew multiple broken hearts. I asked him a few times what all the broken hearts meant and he kept saying he wasn't sure. Eventually, the young boy leaned over and asked me if I would put bandages on the sketched hearts. I gladly agreed and began to draw a bandage on all the little broken hearts. Then he asked me to write, "You're going to bandage the brokenhearted" taken from our previous week's memory verse: "He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds." Pslam 147:3. After I wrote down the verse, he then asked me to write the numbers "7" and "3" on the back of the paper. We spent some more quiet time listening to the Holy Spirit as a class and when we had finished, I pulled a name for each kid, just like we had planned. The name I pulled for the 4 year old was his 5 year old friend who gladly accepted his bandaged drawing. It wasn't long however before the young man quickly lost admiration for the drawing and was soon trying to turn it into some new art project of his own. Kira noticed and took a picture of the drawing before he damaged it too badly. For reasons only God knew, she had felt like it was a pretty important word for this little boy to keep. Fast forward to that afternoon and the mother of that boy approached Kira about the drawing she found wrinkled up on her porch. She wondered what it meant. Kira told her it was a word that our 4 year old in class had given to her son. She looked at Kira and said with wonder on her face, "7/3 is our wedding anniversary..." we were standing there like, WHHAAATT?! Our minds were blown when we heard this. Our youngest student had just prophesied healing of broken hearts over the parents and family of this other student. And it was confirmed with a word of knowledge about their wedding anniversary!

Another time, during our Thursday Prayer Station that we do during the second half of lunch, we had one of the adult students sit down in one of the red chairs for prayer (this man has a history with the Cartel but was radically transformed and is now a worshiper and lover of Jesus, SUCH an amazing testimony). We asked the kids to pray and ask Holy Spirit to share something with this man. As this man was waiting for a word from the kids he was closing his eyes and was just waiting for God to reveal something to Him and he heard, "You are important to me." At that EXACT same moment, one of our kids had reached into our word bucket and pulled out a word for him and then reached over to give it to the man and said, "God wants you to know that you are important to Him." The word he chose for this man was, you guessed it, "important". The man broke into tears, expressing to us what God had just said to him at the same moment he receive the word from the boy. God is just amazing!!!

One of the other kids also received a word for this man. She drew a picture of a house with a super cozy basement. It had a hammock, a table with chairs, and a coffee sitting on the table - it was great! She gave the man her drawing and he was again moved by the Spirit through what she had drawn. He told us that he has been praying and asking God whether or not he should build a basement in his house. He'd been waiting for an answer from the Lord. He said He knows now that the Lord wants him to go ahead and build a basement.

During one of our times soaking in the presence of Jesus, we told the kids that if they saw a picture or heard any words from Holy Spirit, to draw or write it out. Scarlet, our 8 year old daughter, got this vision...

On the right is a broken building. She said that Jesus, on the bottom right, has a hammer in His hand and is fixing the building. On the left you'll see three groups of people. She said each group of people is having a different reaction to Jesus fixing the building. The top group of people are confused because they don't know why Jesus is fixing the building. They think it's fine and it doesn't need fixed. The second group of people are angry that Jesus is fixing the building. The third group of people are rejoicing that Jesus is fixing the building...we kind of just looked with gaping mouths at the photo. We believe that this is a prophetic word for the church.

We have SO many beautiful stories just like these of God speaking to our class of little humans. I don't know if it will ever stop blowing us away... Our prayer is that it doesn't.

Our time with these kiddos has shown us a totally different facet of who God is and how He loves us. The Joy that He has over all of us, His Children, is immense! The fun He desires to have with every man, woman, and child on the planet as they look to Him for teaching, instruction, and discipline is incredible. He is SO good and He has shown us that He has made these kids capable of hearing and listening to His voice as well as any adult. They have taught us many needed lessons as we have tried to instill in them a singular pursuit - God and God alone! Our greatest desire is that they feel His love and are as prepared as possible to labor alongside their parents in sharing that love with people on outreach.

WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW?

We are about to embark on our next big adventure as part of our missionary journey. We are preparing to take off on June 17th to lead another team of DTS student families on a missional outreach.

This year we will be taking a group of 3 families and a single adult on a missionary trip to the Middle East. We will be doing children's ministry at the YWAM M.E. Gathering and serving at an orphanage with approximately 200 children and 40 or so widows along with

other staff. We will be ministering to many new converts, and taking part in a 24/7 prayer ministry where we will be interceding for the nations in the Middle East. Our goal is to love, share, serve, and walk as humbly as possible into each location so that we can be the hands and feet of God, being His Kingdom ambassadors so the whole world will see that He is LOVE and know that He is GOOD!

WHAT'S NEXT?!

In other news, we have received from Holy Spirit what our family's next assignment is to be after fishing this DTS in mid August. While we were home over the holidays last year we felt the "missionary burn" (which is not the same as heart burn 😂) for our hometown and region. We were overwhelmed with a heart of compassion for the people and the place where we were born and raised and have so many family and friends. In particular, the Spirit lead us in rekindling a close and passionate relationship with a specific church community in North Western, PA named Praise Fellowship. He showed us during that period of time His dreams and visions for Praise Fellowship that could only have been from the Lord, and through prayerful consideration and seeking wise council He told us to "knock on the door and see if it opens." -

So we did.

And it opened. 😁🙌🏼

This coming September we will be packing up all of our belongings that we have and loading it into our small trailer and car and driving back across the country. We will be stepping into a pastoral role at Praise, and we are believing with great expectation that all that He showed us is in His heart for that community will come to fruition.

In the mean time we would like to ask that any of you that are partnering with us financially on this journey please continue to support us through September as we finish our missionary work. Also, if you have established any reoccurring support deposits for our family, just know that in September you can cancel them. If you would like to offer support for our transition into the new location we would be tremendously blessed as well.

Thank you, and as always, prayer for where God is taking our family is the best support that we can possibly receive!

Be blessed!
