Hawaii - Here We Are!

I wanted to write a post before we left titled “Hawaii - Here We Come!“, but unfortunately in the midst of all of the hubbub and whirlwind of getting rid of 90% of all that we own, fitting our lives in to 7 suitcases and some carry-ons, preparing our house for the new owner, moving in with parents temporarily, the trip to Pittsburg airport with all our family, the emotional but wonderful "goodbyes”, the check-in through boarding process, a very exciting first flight for Chloe and Scarlet, connecting through Dallas Airport (where we had to squeeze in a COVID test for Chloe), and lastly but certainly not least passing through the Hawaii quarantine exemption screening on the big Island didn’t allow for much blogging time.

So instead of this blog being titled ”Hawaii Here We Come”, Yall get “HERE WE ARE”. Haha…

It was a blessed journey and we felt the covering of the Lord the whole way. Even down to the little details. One of my favorite of those details was of course being given two free Starbucks coffees at the Dallas Airport. For those of you that know Kira and I, you know that this was a TREMENDOUS BLESSING! Lol! Starbucks just so happened to be celebrating their 50th anniversary and so all of their regular coffees were being served for free.

Not too shabby! 😁🤙🏻

Especially on a 14hr travel day! 🤪

So, the whole Spencer family wants to say thank you to everyone who has been praying and who messaged me yesterday saying that they were praying as we traveled, because we believe that those prayers were a huge part of the spiritual blessing and covering that we experienced.

PLEASE, keep those prayers going up for our family as we continue this new journey! We very much believe in their power!

We have to go now and start getting ready for our first day at the University of the Nations and the beginning of our missionary training with YWAM. WOOT! WOOT!🙌🏻🙌🏻
